There are new Trials just added, one for Ys IX for example. From the website, when logged into my account, I can play for 120 mins. When clicked it launches the game via browser.

my problem is, I play on my TV, so the only way to normally play games is to buy them, in my mind, these trials should be available that way as well. However, they are not. There is no option to “add the trial” and play via TV

The app on an LG CX TV, a supported method of play. As I understand it, the issue would be the same via a Chromecast as well. Any device where you need to add a game via the app first (so TVs, CCU, etc)

These trials are a great idea but I dont understand why they need to be activated via a browser. I started one and the game icon appears in the tray on my CX, but it never loads up, meaning they HAVE to be played via browser. Why is that? Isnt the point of Stadia to play where you want?
