i am pretty sure now, that the problem is the mediatek cpu...it isnt capable of vp9 codec and i guess that causes the problem. and this would mean, we all have to get other chromebooks...because i dont think this can be fixed via updates

Its exactly the same here.

my guess would be that its linked with the wifi chipset...cant point it out since my chromebook has no ethernet port and i have ordered a dongle for now. will test it

Doesnt work for me....same problem and even inconvenient. i appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem, but i would like to hear also some official statement regarding this issue, since its obviously not related to the mediatek cpu in my chromebook like i thought it is. greetings

Same here. I own a Lenovo S330 and have exactly the same issues. Stadia starting the games , then red blinking connection symbol, then game is aborted. Also happening while sitting 1cm from the router. Its 5ghz Network, 250mbit connection, and every other thing on the chromebook works just fine. Additionally even older devices working flawless with stadia, but the chromebook doesnt. I would appreciate any suggestions to solve this issue Thanks!
