I have had this same problem. I have noticed it multiple times.

Pro subscription, no problem playing games. Although have to play at 720p despite my download speeds being fine.

The day my subscription ends I can no longer play anything for more than 3 seconds before stuttering and lagging.

Can you plug a wire straight into the device from the router?
