yes, all is clear so far.

Actually, the Chromecast kit (with LAN adapter and controller) will be arriving tomorrow (or Monday latest). so im keeping this thread open till then in order to ask someting if illget stuck.... but i think its pretty clear

Thank you for clearing everything up for me :).

Two quick additional questions...

Newest chromecast with google tv is also capable of 4k 60fps, can it support stadia apk installed directly to this chromecast? So the phone would not be needed after all at all?

And, is there any retail shop with worldwide shipping? As currently here in czech rep. (Middle europe) there is no way to buy controller or ethernet adapter, therefore foreign shipping is necessary

ok ok, makes more sence

so how its with the controller?

if i connect the controller to the wifi (should be to wifi of the router, right?) then how it comunicates with the Chromecast Ultra while its connected to Ethernet cable?

Or is the chromecast ultra able to talk via WiFi (to the controller) at the same time its connected to ethernet cable streaming?

unfortunately, tis leaves me with lots of opened questions...

basicaly, what you are saying is, that ill be screaming internet over the phone wifi right? so the lan cable connected no longer has any effect.

So therefore, if I cast Stadia from the phone, all connection streaming data to/from Stadia will be done over the phone (5Ghz) which will then stream it forward to Chromecast Ultra... do I correctly understand?

Hello guys,

just reading up all stuff about hte Stadia in general, and it gets me confused,

so here are my questions:

assume that I get the LAN2USB adapter, link it via OTG cable to Chromecast Ultra, then its basicaly run over the LAN instead of WiFi...

- can I at this point share the screen from laptop which is connected to WiFi router (the same router Chromecast Ultra get the internet from by LAN cable)?

- how to I run Stadia then? I can connect from the laptop to the account, but then i wish no to "share" screen from laptop over the wifi, but get the connection to it via LAN its already connected

- if I get any wifi controller which should work for stadia, how the chromecast ultra recognize it? how do i pair it?
