Hi James,

After some extensive research I determined that a certain update to threat prevention in SRM (Synology router manager) is now blocking the traffic to the stadia servers. SRM classifies it as:

Attempted User Privilege Gain: ET INFO Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN Binding Request)

Additional data can be found here:

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc5389#section-16.1.1

I'm currently unable to make an exception for stadia, since the service connects to a different IP every session. Therefore I can't make an exemption rule for a specific (range of) IP.

If you have any suggestions I'm all ears.

V/R Emile

Hi James

I haven't been able to look into the issue for a while. But had contact with my ISP yesterday. They didn't change anything on their side and I changed nothing in my router.

I'm running a Synology ac2600 and I dont have a default adblocker on the router. The weird thing is it seems that only your service is affected. Xbox live Netflix etc. etc. all work fine. It's not an extension issue since it happens also when using the chromecast.

Can you distill what could be stopping the rtc client from functioning? Only having this issue when attempting a stafia session from within my own LAN. When using all the affected devices outside it, all works fine.

Thanks

V/R Emile

Hence that router.

Something must have been changed in my modem by my internet provider since I haven't changed anything on my router. Do you have any suggestions?

I only have cyberpunk on stadia. The pics are from using a chromecast and from logging in one mobile chrome browser on an android phone. I tried a chrome browser on win10 as well.

All these devices worked fine in the past. I haven't used stadia in a few months and now nothing works. No changes were made to my home network and all other IOT devices work just fine.

Looking forward to your reply.

V/R.

Tried all that sadly. Still have the same issue. What's weird is that it also happens when using chromecast. So no browser involved.

After working fine for quite some time, I now have the "Failed to start RTC client" message. This appears when using chrome on win 10, chrome on my android phone and also when using the chromecast.

All devices are up to date. I've disabled extensions etc. Still not working. Any additional suggestions? Either way it worked fine, now all over sudden it doesn't.
