Can't keep my Stadia Controller connected to Chromecast with Google TV

I have a new Chromecast with google TV dongle and have been unsuccessfully trying to connect my Stadia Controller since the addition of Stadia on the platform.

I get it connected for a little bit, but every time I go to start a game the controller disconnects, and then I have to shut down everything and retry to connect everything again. Once I get the controller connected again it will disconnect as soon as I enter a game.

I have done everything that is on the support docs, have reset and reestablished the controller's connection to wifi, etc. I get as far as getting it connected but it drops when I try to play.

I didn't have this issue with my Ultra, which is no longer connected to the network.
