Do all CCU's overheat or just the one included with Stadia?

I just picked up an additional Chromecast Ultra for $40 (sale + coupon + discount). I wanted to be able to switch rooms without having to unplug and drag all the cords with me. I haven't set it up yet and I've seen where it should connect to Stadia with an update but will the new one overheat like the original Chromecast Ultra that comes with the Stadia? I'd just like to know if I have to worry about my whole house burning down or just half.

My CCU would overheat and freeze between 30 mins and 1 hour. This was over WiFi. After I connected it direct to ethernet mine still gets hot too but no longer freezes. I only tested it for 2 hours though. Pretty ridiculous and very disappointing. They should've taken extra time and made sure their product actually worked before releasing it.
