They said back at the launch event that they're looking into modding support for the future because they know it's big among the enthusiast community, but that it's not a feature they're planning before launch.

Using your earbuds should be fine. If you want a proper headset for noise isolation and a noise canceling mic, you may want to wait a little bit for the controller to get it's USB headset support like it was promised.

Yes Stadia will be available without buying a premier pack but not until the service actually launches, likely next year. What we had these past few days is a limited launch for founders. It's a beta by any other name.

The high price of founders packs and premier packs limits the number of people who are signing up for the service and helps keep the rollout manageable.

I wouldn't expect to see Stadia Pro availability until around the same time that Stadia Base launches.
