Re: Google Stadia Shutting Down?

I think google is doing the right thing here. There are already loads of studios that produce amazing games: Activision, Ubisoft, EA, Konami, EPIC, Origin, CD Projekt Red, Rockstart, etc. So, what's the point in wasting money creating yours when there are other things to improve and do that, in my opinion, are way more important at the moment, such as:

1.- Make sure the platform works flawlessly on TV and PC. No latency, connectivity, graphics, fps, resolution or loading times issues.

2.- Increase the number of users as much as possible. They are already planning to do this by integrating stadia on LG 2021 TV's. They could also offer stadia and youtube premium together for £14.99. And, obviously, add mainstream titles such as COD or FIFA.

3.- They can now also offer game studios deals to develop/adapt mainstream titles games for stadia. Which is way cheaper and more profitable than producing your own exclusives form scratch.

4.- Google by opening their tech to publishers is playing a similar card that TESLA did, who doesn't own any patents. They are speeding up the transition to cloud gaming and facilitating the development of games for the platform.

I hope not to be wrong, but only time will tell. In any case, it is clear that cloud gaming is the future of gaming and it will eventually happen.
