I also began to wonder if my mid game skips and lags are contributed by the overheating of the CCU. I monitor my Stadia sessions now with Wireshark and notice during skips and lags the Stadia server is still talking "normally" to my CCU. Meantime, I checked that my network is good. So I found a couple of heatsink from my old PC motherboards and sandwich my CCU in between, will keep eyes on this for any improvement or not.

Only play Destiny 2 these days. Freezes mid game (down to 1 frame per 2 seconds), controller connection was fine. Internet & WiFi were good (Chromecast on wired). I did network captures using Wireshark and saw Stadia server was still sending packets as if nothing happened despite during the mid game freezes. (Hint: Has to be problem on Stadia side) Had to exit game and re-enter. Stadia needs to fix these issues as it becomes a rare luck now to enjoy a game without mid game freezes!

My controller has started doing this mid-game disconnects in Destiny 2 (game I play the most). Frustrated by the annoyance as it disconnected me during a good game! Have tried factory reset and it didn't help. Internet speed is good & Wifi is good as well - controller is linked via 5Ghz to AccessPoint getting -55 to -60dbm signal. Chromecast is wired. I am setting up WireShark to monitor packets of the controller to see if there is any pattern of these disconnects. Does anyone know how to get detailed logs on Stadia side? I have contacted Stadia support before, but all it was done was to swap controller, nothing more.
