How does the subscription work?

Hi, what's the deal with the service here? I am happy with the game selection and stream quality but if I buy a game do I lose the game if my subscription lapses?

I'm not interested in having my games library held hostage to some monthly fee if that's how it works.

I can understand that I can't access my library if I haven't paid, I'm just concerned that I'll lose what I bought if I don't pay the sub for a month.

Ok so gigabit internet speeds, absolutely no connection problems can download a 1 gigabyte file in about 30 seconds and I've just signed up to the trial month.

So the framerate is abysmal, 30fps max or possibly lower, the image is blurry, I mean not 240p youtube video blurry but it sure as hell isn't native resolution.

Is this how it's supposed to be? In the options I've set it for up to 4k but it's ugly as hell and looks like i'm trying to play some dudes twitch stream.

Terrible performance, washed out non native res image?? I was told this should be almost as good as playing locally?
