I got a refund today from Google. Im happy it worked out! The Support was very friendly, helpful and understanding.

Hopefully, the actual issue will be fixed at some point though.

Just a few screenshots so other people can see what i mean and what stadia looks like in "4K PRO MODE". Look at the transitions between dark and bright areas, skin tones and you will get the idea. Google" Color Banding" to see reference. Visual Mode.

Update 1.05 did not fix the issue for me.

Hey @Chufu , Thank you for your help.

Generally, I think it is relative to the observer what constitutes as "playable" - however i would argue that a First Person Shooter with Input lag does not constitute as "playable".

I would also argue that a title that promised to be visually stunning and then does not deliver, also does not constitute as "an experience".

It could be the game itself though, i tried several other games on Stadia now and they dont have this terrible input lag.

Lets hope for the best, i would really love to play this game on Stadia!

I dont know if that is true. Support told me that a specialist will now look into my case and i have been advised to not play Cyberpunk anymore, because that would lower my chances of getting a refund.

It is strange, i tried Dead by Daylight yesterday and it seems to run perfectly fine, the input lag is barely noticable.

However, im starting to think that my expectations of Cyberpunk on Stadia have been too high from the beginning, people say that it runs best on Chrome Cast Ultra. I looked at Youtube videos where people show the CCU Version and it looks the same on my PC - blurry and pixelated with color banding. Its sad to see that a game that is suppused to be visually stunning cant live up to its promises on Stadia.

I mean - the 4K Option of the Pro-Sub - are we all gonna assume it will just look as crisp as it would on the "real" PC Version? To me the Stadia Version looks like Nintendo Wii Graphics. I cant help but think that people who play this game on stadia are blind or too stubborn to accept the fact that it just does not look and feel good.

Hi, yesterday i bought Cyberpunk 2077 for Stadia to play it on my Windows Laptop.

However, i had a terrible user experience such as

-Terrible Input lag (feels like 400ms, im a musician and i can tell that its not your average 10-20ms) with Xbox Controller, PS4 Controller, Mouse& Keyboard.

-Terrible Color Banding Issue , especially in dark areas (or as some people call it blocky / square shadows)

-Low Resolution even with Pro Sub and Forced 4K through various Extensions or Incognito Mode (or other snakeoil solutions) looks Like 720p with Resolution scaled down 5o%.

-Visual Mode has even worse Input lag than performance mode, (which looks like complete garbage, comparable to Nintendo Wii Graphics i would say)

So in short, its just not possible to play this game.

Now, i have the fastest Internet Connection available here in Germany, 1000mbits. I've tried to play with Lan Cable to my Router, 5ghz / 2.4 Ghz wifi, all the same outcome.

Now after trying to fix the horrendous situation for hours, i came to the conclusion that i want a refund.

However, ive been in the game for more than two hours and no longer eligible for a normal refund.

Google, how to get a refund? Even The publisher is offering a refund for ps4 and Xbox players!
