gute Frage, ich habe tatsächlich noch gar nicht nach der tatsächlichen Verbindung geschaut. Ich hatte mein Lan-Kabel auch nur einmal mit Router und Stadia-Stecker verbunden und dann lief es ohne Probleme ohne Kabel.

Well i had actually exactly the same problems. Still could activate google assistant, take screenshots or enter my stadia menu.. only preceeding inside the game was impossible because the game wouöd not except any button input. However i am sorry if i couldn't help you to find a solution.

Hey @Flurry,

honestly the controller worked just fine after i plugged in the ethernet cable without any reset right before. I just suggested it as a "fresh start" to prevent any potential problems around it because i can`t really give [you] a technical explanations why this actually works.

SOLVED!

Kudos to @Igmu for the idea!

So for everyone reading it and having the same issue, connect your ethernet cable with the stadia power brick and your router/modem for the first time. After that, i could play without any issues, lags or frequency problems. After that stop stadia, switch off everything connected to prevent a crash and unplug the ethernet cable. From now on, it should work without cable and problems via wi-fi.

für jeden der ähnliche Probleme hat, versucht vor dem Start des Spiels euren Router mithilfe eines Lan-Kabel mit dem mitgelieferten Chromecast-Adapter zu verbinden. Dies sollte das Verbindungsproblem lösen. Danach einfach alle verbundenen Geräte ausschalten, Lan-Kabel entfernen und et voilá ihr solltet in Zukunft auch ohne Kabel problemlos spielen können!

So here is the trouble-shooting i did so far:
- charged controller
- restart and/or factory reset chromcast ultra
- restart or reset the controller
- connected controller and chromecast with 2,4Ghz & 5ghz together or both in different frequencies (with AES Encryption and without)
- enable/disable game-mode; 50Hz-Option; screen reading etc.
- used different resolutions (720p; 1080p; 4k)

So far, it is still not working :S

Hey Folks,

so apparently i have a connection issue with my controller while using it on chromcast ultra and on my laptop. The controller works without problmes until i start with the game. Then suddently i am not able to preceed with pressing the buttons. However i am still able to take a screenshot; activate google assistant and open the stadia menu (where every button works perfectly fine!) Internet is also always over 100mb/s

Same problem here! Stadia will recognice my controller until i log in into the game, then suddently i am not able to preceed (but still able to activate google assistant or the stadia settings option)..

So whats wrong here?
