Tried connecting my laptop to the TV and forcing 4K helped so there’s definitely something up with the 1080p stream itself, it is low bitrate. I’ve cancelled Pro for now, I shouldn’t be paying for the free tier quality.

Even on a wired CCU, on a 1080p tv, with a great connection and Pro, Stadia looks more 720p. The scary thing is whenever I switch between 720p and 1080p it looks the same. Otherwise the performance is amazing.

It’s very annoying when people interrogate me like my set up is wrong, but it’s perfect and I’ve tested/troubleshooted everything extensively. There is categorically nothing wrong on my end. I’m not the only one complaining about this either.

If the bitrate was higher I would be totally on board with this platform, but right now I’m avoiding buying more games until it’s improved. I don’t care about graphics that much but I do want image clarity to at least be as good as my PS4.

So, 1080p tv users on Pro should at least get a higher bitrate if they obviously can’t get the 4K stream. Otherwise we’re paying the same money for the free experience and that’s wrong.
