I am having the exact same issue now with my son and wife. Neither of us can find each other in a search. The odd part is that we did locate and successfully add each other yesterday, but today we are no longer on each others list and we don't show up in searches for each other.

Yesterday I setup two stadia premier editions. My son and I each have an account and we were able to successfully add each other as friends and message each other. Today we were about to try a multiplayer game, him on chromecast and me on my Chromebook, but we're no longer on each others friends list. Furthermore, neither of us show up in a search for the other. I've checked the privacy settings for both of our accounts and we both can receive friends requests for anyone. To make matters every stranger, when I try to message my son in the existing message thread we has started, he does not receive the message.

Is anyone else having this issue or have any idea how to fix it? I've only seen one other mention of it in some other forum, and those users we told to send feedback and never got any resolution. I should add that I've tried searching for my son using both the android app on my phone and using stadia through Chrome on my chromebook.
