So after some googling, I saw that some controller issues seemed to involve accessibility settings. I disabled the settings in the stadia app, and this appears to have resolved my issue.

Yep, once you claim a "Pro" game it's yours to play for as long as you have a pro subscription. You can even cancel Pro, let it lapse, re-join, and you can have access to those previously claimed games.

See also https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9578862?hl=en

If a claimed game gets "off the pro list" you can still play it after it's removed. For example I can still play, "Kona" but it's currently not up for grabs in Pro.

So, I'm playing over the internet with a stadia friend - Orcs Must die 3. I'm using a wireless Stadia controller connected via wifi to a hardwired chromecast ultra. My friend is using a wired xbox one controller in chrome (windows pc).

We can both play the game flawlessly separately. However, when we "join" as a party, the non-host controller doesn't work. we can get to the stadia menu, but all other in-game controls do not work.

If I'm the host I can move as usual, no problems for me, but my friend is locked can't move.

If my friend is the host (sends me the invite), then she can move no problem and I can't move.

Very odd and somewhat frustrating. Any ideas?
