A byproduct of using VP9 is that you'll need less than 10 mbit/s. I'm at a hospital with my newborn girl. We're each given 10mbit/s, which amounts to about 9,5 per device. Enabling VP9 made it so that I can play Destiny now that the rest of the family is sleeping.
