I'm sure Stadia heads would normally be all over the opportunity should Blizzard offer it, as the games it produces have had huge draw - and the Diablo series, by nature of their simple controls, would carry over extremely well to Stadia's multi-platform delivery (real Diablo on a phone, please!) but I wouldn't be surprised if, given the recent light shone on Blizzard's corporate culture, Google might shy away given the criticisms they have fielded in that manner in the past.

Thanks, Ivan. Shame they can't allow a virtual controller, but I suppose the number of controls needed wouldn't interface well on the screen. Ah well, tomorrow... And have to log the controller around with me everywhere to get my gaming fix.

Received my code today, still awaiting the controller. Initial testing on Chrome browser was very positive. That said, I have a Pixel 3 XL - is there no way to do any gaming via Stadia on the phone without a connected controller? Aside from the immediate desire to try it out, it would be nice to be able to enjoy Stadia from time to time without necessarily having to carry around the extra equipment.
