A set top box sort of like apple or Roku. Sometimes I think it's cool to have something visible on the tv stand to display. Google could have put it's lights on the front of the box to give it some flare as well a tv remote for when you wanna stream Netflix or such. Just an idea. This could have brought on board some casual folks who don't game, but may buy into stadia by just adding a controller.

Loading from chrome has been very simple. I'm more of a digital purchaser anyways and have been for a handful of years. Some like physical media, I simply do not.

Some people hate MMO's but as for bringing people together they are good. Being an entirely online platform it would make sense. Google could release there own (Amazon working on Lord of the rings and New world). Or possibly buy over one that's already coming up such as Pantheon. At least to start an exclusive MMO would of helped bring a larger community to the platform. Then some of that community would invest in the platform with buying other games and using stadia as a primary console replacement.

I disagree, respectfully. I have came from PlayStation and Xbox as well as PC gaming and I don't look at stadia as replacing any of them.....yet. I'm enjoying stadia for what it is, a decent platform that "could" be a lot better as features roll out. I think Google missed a couple key areas. 1. Didn't release a dedicated tv box that does both stream movies as well as a stadia hub. 2. No MAJOR exclusives (why would someone abandon Xbox or PlayStation for games they probably already own?). They have the resources and money, Google should have invested in a massive multiplayer exclusive (such as world of Warcraft or ESO. Hate it or love it has WOW still a massive player base) and this would have brought people to stadia.

I am giving it time. New gaming platform with a lot of potential. Patience will be key. Let's see what 4/28 announcement brings. Hang in there. Don't replace any consoles full time but see where stadia goes.

I agree with most of the replies, give it time. Not only is it fairly new, but it's a new concept for the most part and I'd hate to say unexplored waters but definitely not well known of how it will do. Most developers won't invest unless they see a reason to. That howeverbeing said Google is massive, seem to be invested themselves, and have quite a gem in stadia. I just got on board with stadia and am very impressed.

That aside take Madden for example, it typically releases every August. So don't count it out for this year on stadia.

Just ordered my stadia controller and Chromecast ultra after trying it out on my chrome browser. Very impressed and looking forward to staying with Google on this one. I live in a rural town but lucky enough to have high speed internet, thankfully.

Has anyone heard of a possible chrome box made by Google for release? One that has a controller for everyday tv. I think Google would have had a larger release if aside from the CC ultra they had their own tv tv on release. This would have won over the basic tv consumers but left open the gaming aspect of adding stadia with little effort.

Again I'm very impressed and haven't experienced any bad connection issues etc. Played destiny 2 for quite some time last night and had a blast.

Thank you all.
