Consistent lag despite good connection

Hi,

i,ve had stadia for about 10 days now but have found i am having consistently poor connection despite it being shown i have a good connection when using the checker provided by stadia support.

i have changed all of the settings on my tv and the stadia app to the lowest / basic set possible but still getting a fair bit of lag. Its becoming really frustrating as i love to concept and keen to keep it but unless i can somehow get it to improve i may have to give up

does anyone else have some further options i can try to improve the gaming experience? As it stands when I'm playing GRID its seriously effecting my races! When playing destiny and i’m missing shots all the time!

theres a couple games id like to buy but not sure now as if i cant have a solid connection theres no point
