Stadia 5.1 surround now works on SONOS Arc

SONOS recently released update 12.2 with support for LPCM 5.1 surround sound which is the format Stadia outputs. All my Stadia games sound unbelievable now! I am so excited to play games the way they are meant to be played. The Stadia team should plan on supporting Dolby digital + and Atmos in the future as games begin supporting the Dolby format.

With the announcement of the Xbox series S and X supporting Dolby Atmos when will Stadia begin support for Dolby Digital Plus and Atmos? Stadia currently supports PCM but many Stadia Pro users own TVs and/or soundbars that only support Dolby Digital. We want to play our games with 5.1 surround sound as the developers intended.

I'm pretty sure it's my particular setup. I didn't start having problems with this game until I changed the HDMI audio setting on my TV from PCM to bitstream. Reason for making the change was my 5.1 surround was not receiving the signal from my TV with the PCM setting. When I changed it to bitstream I started getting 5.1.surround on all the games that support it.

I can hear the music and car sounds but the character voices aren't playing. It's like they are muted. The HDMI input audio setting on my TV is bitstream. Stadia settings screen shows that the game is outputting 5.1 surround. Any idea why the voices aren't coming in?

Issue is resolved here for me in Tampa. Games are playing smooth at 4k. Games look amazing. No lag. No graphic glitches.

I'm in Tampa Florida and having the same issues. ImI have rebuilt my home network from the ground up to ensure the issue was not on my end. Who do I need to call at Frontier and Google to get the issue resolved?
