So the chrome cast ultra is a modern PC? Faster than my eight core / 16 GB ? I dont think so

If the codec is the reason than i would expect i slightly different picture quality between these codecs (thats what others say) and no issues with the connection (At least thats what stadia says in chrome)

Hi,

first of all thanks for your advice.

Nothing worked for me, unfortunately.

My last try is to deinstall my graphic card driver or try different driver settings (AMD). Maybe my card is too old. but on the other hand why does it cause disconnections?

I hope that google provide a proper solution on this at some stage.

i tried to switch the codec via console hack but facing huge input lag while playing destiny. So this didn't work for me. I wait for an official google fix / statement on this. On CCU it wokrs for me which is fine.

Hi,

I am facing same problems. On Chromecast superb performance but on my PC lots of "connection problems" with artifacts, stuttering and so on.

All devices are in the same network! A continuous ping doesn't show any connection related problems.

I do have a 200mbit connection (German Vodafone)

That's what I already did:

Reinstalled Chrome

Disabled every chrome plug in

Disabled all firewalls / anti Virus tools

Continous monitoring of connection (ping on stadia.google.com shows no disconnections)

Changed network cables

Disabled HW acceleration (fixed the appearing Connection problem message) but causes huge input lag making games unplayable.

Haven't tried to switch video encoder via console hack (which can't be a serious solution in my opinion)

I am grateful for every help!
