Even with the positive media awareness i think that's not the focus that Stadia needs. The real focus should be on the simplicity of the service, this is the main selling point.

Regarding performance i think we all just care about seeing games performing at a good performance (4k60 preferably) and not being behind the last gen of consoles.

If the game is 2D and low demanding i don't really care if the hardware behind is weaker to save costs, i just care about the final result.

This would be just a band-aid for the lack of internet in some areas.

I strongly believe that the improvement of compression algorithms will make Stadia capable of delivering same performance at even lower network conditions.

It's just a matter of time.

I would love to see any Blizzard game specially Diablo IV.

Also FIFA 21 and Path of Exile

New Country Blocking

Hey guys,

Huge Stadia founder here, day one pre-order and continuous Pro subscriber.

I've moved out of the UK a few weeks after i received my founder's edition.

In the country where i'm living at the moment (Portugal) i was able to play and buy Stadia games without any issues.

I've around 14 games bought in the Store, and i can tell you that latency wise the experience was seamless.

In the last two days i've been getting blocked out of the Stadia website and without understanding what was going on i contacted customer support.

It seems that Google sneakily added blocking to the Stadia website to anyone accessing from Portugal without a previous warning or any apparent reason. Support told me that since it is an unsupported country there's nothing they can do and they have "no news to share" at the moment.

I'm now blocked out of all my game library that i've builted and used without a single issue for a FULL YEAR.

This is my warning to all of you guys, as much as i like Cloud Gaming be wary if Google wants they will just block you out and give you no apparent excuse besides "fill our feedback form".

It was a sad day for me, for sure...
