You can skip the free trial of you want.. Even then there is nothing stopping you from cancelling the FREE trial. Either way you have Stadia Base for free.

Waiting on Ubisoft to port more games over before launching it is what is probably the delay. Longer than I was hoping for anyway.

Luna actually looks like it will have separate publisher channels to subscribe to and could end up being pretty expensive if your range of games you want to play is spread out over multiple channels.

Have to wait and see once they leave early access and add more channels.

I had this issue as well after a few gaming sessions. In the end I had to unlink the Chromecast and start all over again if it were a first time setup.
