Hey @Kne0,

You can check with the issuer of that gift card in this case. If the refund went through successfully even though your payment method is inactive/expired now then the issuer may have received the money. In case the refund is not successful, you would get an email from Google to ask you to provide an alternate payment method.

Q: I no longer have the form of payment I used to make the purchase. How will I get a refund?
A: In many cases, the banking institution will still accept the refund, and we recommend that you reach out to them to receive your funds. If the banking institution does not accept the refund, we will email you with instructions on the steps you’ll need to take to receive your refund.

Hope this helps!

Hey Chufu, thank you for the help. My only problem is the issuer of the gift card needs the card details. And i dont have those details. What can I do then? Could i show them a receipt of the purchases i made on stadia?

Yeah that's probably something you would need to figure out with their support, like what exactly they need and if you can provide it (or if they accept the receipts of the purchases you made on Stadia).
