topic Google Play Gift Card in Payments & Billing

So i recently got a 15$ Google Play Gift Card and i tried to get a game (on sale) but there is no option for google play. I tried searching the forums (Both Google and stadia) for any solutions but most, if not all of them says i need a android device which i already have (i am using a Chromebook, so idk if it counts as a Android device). Do i need a phone or another Android device, or am i just dumb?

@Altraixx Yes, you will need an Android device to get the option of paying with Play credits. Do you think you can get your hands on an Android device temporarily? Chromebook doesn't count as an Android device unfortunately.

There might be a way to load the Stadia app as an Android app on your Chromebook though, so you can try that route. I actually don't know where my Chromebook is at the moment so can't help testing it unfortunately.
