Google Play Gift Card - Part Pay?

Hi,

I want to buy a game on Stadia using a Google Play gift card I was gifted. Can I do this? Does it have to be the full value of the game, or can I part pay with the the gift card credit?

Using an Android phone you can pay for games on Stadia. It can be part of the price as well, so no need to buy additional credit.

Is that through the app? Does it matter if the games is on sale? I was looking at Avengers but it wouldn't let me select the Google Play balance.

Hi, @GameOrNought, it is through the app and for games on sale you can not do partial payments unfortunately. you can fill your google play balance up to be above the amount you need so you are technically still doing partial payments. Part of your balance came from your gift card the rest came from your normal payment method

Steps to buy google play credits (increase your google play balance)

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app
Tap Menu -> Payment methods
Tap on Buy Google Play Credits
