The Chromecast coming with the Premiere is a Chromecast Ultra without GoogleTV, I don't think you can connect it with a chromecast remote since it is meant only to Cast on it and not to have a navigable UI, the only navigable UI in this case that you have is Stadia, and you can navigate through it using the controller you find in the Premiere

Does the Google Stadia Premiere Chromecast come with Android TV and if not is there a way to add it along with connecting a chromecast remote?

Thanks!
