Not working through Chromecast

I have yet to get stadia working on my TV through the Chromecast they sent out..NOT an older version of there cast devices.

Internet is 55mb yetit still states please check your connection..

Works fine on my phone over the wifi but seriously! Getting beyond frustrated with this, any help much appreciated!

Tried-

Ethernet connection

WiFi connection

Game mode on my TV (random but it worked for some apparently)

Unplugging the device for a period of time

Shouting at it

Threatening to use it as a fridge magnet to hang T-towels off...

Please help!!

It's all set up, controller etc etc, I can cast to it etc. But when I click on the game or D2, it just says please check connection..

Do you block some ports?
Chromecasts uses ports 44700 - 44899 when streaming.

Well it's now started working...goes to show, post it in enough places it magically gets sorted..
