Stuttering with Chromecast

I've had my stadia for a while now. I have my Chromecast plugged in with an ethernet cable to my 4k TV and I have well over 100 mb/s Download. But for some reason my games CONSTANTLY stutter and I am not sure how to fix this. I tried to play on my pixel 3xl once and it was smooth. Tried it on a MacBook and it was stuttery. Any ideas?

Hey @DayDreamer,

I would recommend to first try these troubleshooting steps for connection problems and stream quality issues as the stuttering might be fixed with those steps. It's a bit weird that you have the problem also on your Macbook, so it might not be the Chromecast directly, maybe it's still the internet connection. But you can always also contact Stadia support to get help with this issue regarding playing your games.

I've tried looking into troubleshooting and Google support. Doesn't seem to really work. The best thing I've managed is not using the 4k Option and disconnecting my Chromecast ultra from the ethernet cable. Still getting some lag but very rarely.

If it's working better over wireless then that makes me think you're internal wired network is at fault. Check everything, try another network port, ethernet cable or router.
