If I get a USB hub, hook one port to the chromecast and one to a USB controller, would that work for chromecast to see the second controller?

It is silly asking people to buy a second 80$ CND controller just to have 2 players played on chromecast.

Shouldn't this trick give chromecast the option to read usb based controllers?

There should be at least one google official user that can test this or know if it works, did I make a mistake posting here? seems still abandoned by google
