Sorry to hear about your Stadia controller not working. If you have it charged for a couple hours but still drops power after a little, it sounds like it might have a problem with the battery.

When the controller drops, does it try automatically searching to connect again or does it stay dead?

If it stays dead, you might want to go the Stadia customer support on their website. You will be able to check if it's still under warranty with them and if so, they will replace it. I've gone through their support team a few teams and they are top notch!

Best of luck!
