Do I need a stadia pro subscription? Or can I simply purchase and play games? If so is there a que to log on like the Nvidia shield tv?

No, you don’t need a subscription, just buy and play. And no, there’s no queue system, you play instantly from any supported device.

Note: without Pro subscription your stream is limited to up-to 1080p resolution and stereo sound.

A que? Thank god no, Stadia is serious.

Imagine having a que on Netflix.. you got the popcorn and drinks, ready to start that movie... only to end up in a que?

@randyroger Just want to add from what others said, no, there's no queue and you don't need Stadia Pro subscription (although Pro sub comes with some added benefit)

When you sign up with Stadia, you will be prompted to do a 1 month trial of Pro, but you can cancel at any time during the process (and still keep the 1 month)

If you don't want to do the trial, you can bypass the process by either claiming Bomberman or Destiny 2, both are free to play. Then you can go ahead and purchase any available game you want.
