D2 Input Lag

When playing Destiny 2 Forsaken with Stadia base (in chrome with a third party controller and keyboard over WIFI), I experienced a heavy amount of input lag. The lag was so much to where I was able to count five seconds between pressing a button (or moving the joystick) and the action being performed in game! When I tried switching to keyboard and mouse, the same issue persisted with the same amount of input lag. It is good to note that my internet is not great, but I would still like a way to play my games on here. Does anyone have any tips on how to make games run better? Can I lower the resolution of the game somewhere for (hopefully) better performance?

In the Stadia app, go to your profile, under "Data usage & performance", set it to the lowest. Also, uncheck HDR in "Display". Hopefully, this helps.
