January Free Games Annonnced

Based on what I found on several website: "Google Stadia owners with Stadia Pro subscriptions will get two additional games as part of the service in January: stylishly bleak “rhythm violence” game Thumper and Lara Croft's 2016 adventure, Rise of the Tomb Raider. Both titles will be available on Jan. 1, 2020." Are you satisfied ?

I keep wishing for more but I'm satisfied. As long as the "free" game or games are worth enough to cover the monthly $9.99 fee, I'll be ok with that. These two games are each easily enough to cover that, especially since none of us are actually paying the subscription yet.

I still keep hoping for AC Odyssey, but it's probably not going to happen.

Also, I kind of complained about getting more Tomb Raider. But honestly I'm lucky. They gave us Tomb Raider definitive edition, then Shadow of Tomb Raider definitive edition went on sale and I bought it. Now they're giving us Rise of the Tomb Raider. If they had decided to give us Shadow of the Tomb Raider, then I would've been only getting 1 new game in January. So at least I'm glad that it's Rise of the Tomb Raider. Now I'll have all 3 Tomb Raider games on here.

@Xevioso I just bought A.O.T 2 on Stadia, but I waited this announce of the free January games to buy it

I Hope that from january the library will grow rapidly, because we need more game to catch up more people, and with a bigger game library we can hope also in better games included in the PRO subscription.

For me both titles are okay, I enjoy Tomb Raider anyway, but I don't know Thumper, so it would be great to try that one out!

I'm happy with the two games. I got Shadow on sale and now have all three. Will blast through them when I eventually stop playing RAGE 2, also purchased on sale.

@Jenesis : Based on my kids experience with Thumper they are both more than happy currently.

Neither of them can play the Tomb Raider series of games as they are too young. I'm happy enough to play the Tomb Raider games again, but at the end of the day it's my kids that will decide if Stadia is good or not, and currently they are both enjoying it very much.
