4 is like easily the worst game in the main series. 9 really brought the game back to the roots while also modernizing it.

Hey @Renegade37918, I play that from time to time with my BF and it's fun together as fights in local mode (with two controllers). So we both definetely enjoying it. The only bad thing might be that you have to pay to play Shao Khan, but well... we're just playing everything else then. Pretty hard though to learn all the moves of the characters!
