In addition, many of you have expressed the desire to enable Bluetooth on the Stadia controller. We have some good news: next week we'll be releasing a self-serve tool to enable Bluetooth connections on your Stadia Controller. We'll share details next week on how to enable this feature.

Such bittersweet moment. We've known the end of Stadia for a while now, but now that it's getting closer, getting all sorts of mixed feeling here.

So cool to have an 'easter egg' even just for a few days, and the bluetooth unlock for Stadia controller is definitely much appreciated.

Shame to see Stadia to go but it's been fun whilst it lasted and at least we got refunds. I feel bad for the guys that worked on it and put a lot of time and energy to it. There was so much potential there and it had reached the point it was a pretty polished service.

Thank you Stadia team for all your hard work over the years. Sorry you got blind sided like the rest of us! We love you all. And we love hearing that we'll be able to use our controllers as a bluetooth! I am super thrilled about that, since I really did like the controller but didn't want to use wires, since I have a cat who thinks wires are fun to chew on.

That's super awesome! At least the controller will live on... although I am going to keep it in immaculate condition as a collectible for display now

So, it won't be a firmware update through the Stadia app?

Also, how can I get hold of a Black Stadia controller? It looks so good! Still love my white one but yeah, the black one just looks so nice

But in time, all your efforts will pay off and we will see cloud gaming become the main way to play, and Google will be leading the crowd!

A day we never thought would happen, Stadia closure, and then a rather large or small update, allowing us to continue to use the very hardware we so enjoyed.

Thank you for all you have done! This is a huge gift and means tons of plastic controllers will no longer go to waste in landfills.

Yay!! Sad to see stadia shutting down and in getting every second I can out of it before it shuts down . But thanks for the controller it's way more comfy than my Xbox series x controller

As far as I'm concerned, Stadia was first to the cloud and I hope to see it return in some form or fashion with more innovation but maybe this time a bit more humility and leveraging all the marketing mediums Google already has available to itself. I highly recommend a bit less pie-in-the-sky feature thinking and more focus on how to sell the product to end user. Stadia was highly portable and flexible. I will miss it DEARLY. None of the others are even remotely close in that capacity, but the marketing never really mentioned it. Epic fail. It was all flashy 30 second gimmick clips or droning techy videos that didn't really explain what Stadia ultimately offered players... FREEDOM TO PLAY ANYWHERE on almost ANYTHING!!!
