Have Have Xcloud announced any pricing? The beta includes 50 games I know, but games pass is $15 and it's not clear if Xcloud will be free or have an additional cost to that.

If you like Ubisoft games there will be Uplay Plus sometime next year, maybe more subscriptions are coming who knows. In an interview with Stadiacast John Justice didn't deny a second Stadia-subscription might come in the future, I'm guessing that would (f it comes) include games from various developers. That would be similar to Xcloud then, if it comes.

Still, to conclude with my main point: We don't know that Xcloud will be included in Xbox Games Pass.

I ordered the stadia in August and was excited till the arrival of my stadia yesterday evening. I installed everything and test.de the games and the whole device. Then I realised, that I did not buy an game streaming abonnement where I pay my monthly fee to play hundreds of games, no I simply pay a fee to get an psx or xbox clone. A platform with only two free games! I expected, that I pay a monthly fee for good games, but instead I only pay for the platform, nothing else. Google, you got a good platform, but if you continue to set it up like Sony or Microsoft you gonna have a bad time! Instead try to be a real game streaming platform, like netflix but just for games! Don't make the same mistake like you did with Google+ where you didn't listen to your customers! Greetz 0point0

this a huge misconception and I guess terrible marketing from google since so much people thought STADIA was netflix for gaming, so I don't really blame you as I thought the same exact thing before looking more into it.

I don't think it'll ever be the NETFLIX of gaming, what I do think is t hey will have some sort of demo or trial period to try the game for an hour or 2, if you do end up using the trial period and you end up buying the game you won't be able to return it. I say this because there is a 2 hour limit which usually determines if you can get a refund or not, I think it's a good solution from having a bunch of people buying a game then refunding it, just give them a 2 hour trial period.

that will give you a bit of the netflix vibe you want i think

I think Onlive or whatever that old streaming service was gave a couple of hours to try whatever game you want but after that you couldn't trial any other game for the month. If i remember correctly.

Yeah I still feel the same about it at the beginning, because I heard as well that Stadia is the "netflix of games", but yeah, as soon as you dig a bit deeper through the content, you'll see it's a Platform with two possibilities:

Having a Stadia Pro subscription with 4k resolution + Dolby Surround (which both doesn't apply always as we recently learned) and some games for free. At the moment only Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown, in December Farming Simulator 19 and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and who knows what else will come to Stadia Pro in 2020. In addition you have to buy other games on your own if you like. (P.S: I still don't know what happens if you bought a game and then it's included for free later on... is there a refund then?)

Having Stadia Base, which allows you to use Stadia without any costs (less resolution + less soundquali), but you have to buy every single game you want to play. Stadia Base is not even available yet, so it's coming 2020.

It would be nice though to have the ability of a "Stadia Pro Pro" which allows you for a specific price per month to play EVERY game possible on Stadia without additional costs. But I am not really sure, if Google would do that, because it's just easier to only provide a platform and allow developers to put their games on. Would be nice though to have that (depending on the costs of course).

PlayStation. Now is your “Netflix for Gaming” since it gives you a huge library and new additions for a monthly fee. But don’t expect to see current blockbusters already included.

I hope Google will change their idea, because with the release of Project xCloud they have a competitor which have at the moment a much better offer.
