Lake - Loading from save point

Playing Lake on Stadia Pro and first game and time on Stadia however all I can do is start a new game. Seems to be nowhere to continue where I left off. I have officially clicked a save button when playing but presumed it was auto-saving.

Started again 3 times now and though there must be something I'm missing.

Did you play through the first day?

I just tried and I am able to save manually and load the game.
