Can not a hear anything when playing on iPad Pro.

When I try playing a game, no sound comes on. I can't hear anything. I looked up to see if other people had the same issue, and on Reddit someone said tap on the screen. I did that but either nothing happens or a weird sound comes in for like a second or two and then stops. Other than that, tapping on the screen does nothing except make that weird sound. I have no idea how to get sound working again! Sound used to work then one random day for some random reason it randomly stopped working.

I already tried logging in and out. I tried closing out Stadia completely and reopening. Nothing seems to work. Also there will be days where the sound does work, but it's rare. Since the problem started (over two month ago) sound worked for one day. The next day and since then it hasn't worked again.

Strange problem ! I also play using an iPad Pro and did never had this issue.

Are we agree that you're using Safari to use Stadia ?

Depending on what iPad Pro you have, you'll have to check that your volume isn't force-muted first. This is a switch you can find near the volume up/down buttons :

Note that not every iPad Pro have this switch. But if used, even with sound up, no sound will came from the iPad. You can also "software-ly" mute your iPad by activating the following (so, you need to de-activate it) :

Once checked, there is a last thing to check. Once on stadia through Safari, check that the sound is activated for the website. It's located near the URL :

There is actually others things to do, but let's start with that.
