Android TV app

Has anyone had issues with the android tv app? For me it's really buggy. Game keeps skipping frames and freezing. I'm using a Nvidia Shield (newer version).

Works perfectly fine when playing off the 4k Chromecast.

Stadia for Android TV is officially supported only on a limited subset of models, you can find the list here:

Smart TV Android Hisense® (U7G, U8G, U9G)
Nvidia® Shield TV
Nvidia Shield TV Pro
Chiavetta per streaming FHD e dispositivo per lo streaming UHD Onn™
Android TV Philips® 8215, 8505 e OLED serie 935/805
Xiaomi® MIBOX3 e MIBOX4

For models not included the support is still experimental and you can find issues in playing (I have the same issues as you with Sony Bravia Android TV) you can find the updated list of models supported on the help page https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9578631/ also you can send a feedback from Stadia app to let developer know that in your model the experimental support is not working as expected!

However if you like to experiment someone on Reddit suggested an unofficial workaround, be aware that changing the developer settings can influence even other application installed! https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/o71cul/sony_bravia_owners_there_is_a_workaround_to_get/ let me know if you want to try this and if it works for you!

Hope we will get Fire Cube too because if so I have all installed on one device and get a free hdmi port that I need
