Lost game save on Marvel Avengers

I was playing as usual and got an invite to join a friend's party. Once I joined their game, my whole character and game save was reset to the beginning of the game.

I lost all my characters level/skills/items but I still have my bought cosmetics and challenge cards.

How can I regain my characters ?
