Every Game Crashing... Every Platform....Every Connection.... 4 days straight.... wtf?

All my games are crashing on every device, Chromecast ultra, Chromecast ultra founders edition, Pixel 4a 5G, chrome browser. Tried different games, different controllers, every game crashes about 1 minute in. What is going on? I have been searching the internet for days and seems no one else is having this problem. Frustrated. More info: wifi is perfect and have tried different access points with equally as good 200+ mb d/l speed.

Hi @constnt, I would check your connection's stability and check your router for stability. I personally had the same issue and it took me doing a ping test to google's servers for a long time using different routers to find my issue. ISP was the same, connection was the same, everything was the same except for the router used.

what I am saying is even if you had a strong connection. your connection's stability might have gone down and is causing the issue. Netflix, YouTube, HBO Max and Disney Plus would run fine because they don't use a constant connection like Stadia does when streaming video (they use a internal buffer so your connection can have downtime).

I would do a ping test to 8.8.8.8 from a computer. Wired to your router if possible to try and remove wireless interference.

Windows: "ping -n 3600 8.8.8.8"

Mac OS: "ping -c 3600 8.8.8.8"

Linux: "ping -c 3600 8.8.8.8"

The reason for the -n/-c is to specify how many pings to send out

I'm having a similar issue. Some games will run just fine but others stop after about 1 min and my latency is really high. I have been keeping an eye on it. The download and upload speeds are fine. It's just the latency that drops. This started happening yesterday. I don't know if Stadia made changes or if my ISP changed something. All speed/latency/upload tests look fine on my ISP. I'm am directly wired to my router but wireless has the same problem.

idk man quite a bit didn't get your whole 3,600 but close. only one packet that pinged in the triple - quadrupole digits on the milliseconds. mean average was 29 ms give 'er take

I'm betting on stadia making changes over your ISP.... they seem to have a bit of radio silence going on with this said issue. It sucks you are encountering this same type of issue as well. I have said a lot of curse words in recent days due to this issue, so I will reserve those for yelling at my own tv and not on this forum. Google I hope you are listening.

I see, I am assuming this was done on ethernet.

since you didn't get 100% of the packet the problem is somewhere between your computer and google as a whole. If possible I would try out a different router/modem.

@constnt @Crowrezin if possible try with a friend's account on your computer/chromecast and see if it still happens. Of course this is with your current connection

Is your problem resolved as for today?

If not, it seems the problem is either related to your network stability or a specific bug with your Stadia account.

To test the first, I would better recommend using the tool MTR (Matt's / My TraceRoute) on laptop. Results of the command " mtr 8.8.8.8 " would tell you whether packets are dropped inside or outside of your local network. As you can see, I have great stability (Loss% = 0) but my latency could be better (Avg appr. 60ms)...

As the connection seems to be interrupted on every device, you may also test it on Smartphones with the app " Analiti " in Connection tab > Ping to compare local router ping and 8.8.8.8 ping statistics though you have less information than mtr.

I hope this piece of information would help you find out what happens after 1 minute of gameplay.

To resolve the second, I would recommend getting in touch with Stadia hotline (https://support.google.com/stadia/gethelp) for them to determine what's going on
