Why are they taking so long to expand the service to other countries?

Launch Stadia in Brazil soon.

The community of Stadia will grow a lot when they expand to South America.

I think they want to but first they need to buy land build a building buy and build servers set up a full datscentre employ staff to man it and work with isps to peer to there networks not a over night job i think the countrys they are in had the benefit of already having space in the google datacentres to quickly setup and launch

Totally agree with you, Brazil and the Latin America in general have a great potential in the cloud gaming market, Microsoft is already performing their tests in Brazil with good results so far. Google already have a data center in South America and nodes throughout the continent, I like to be optimistic and I think that's just matter of time until Stadia arrives here simply by saying that Google already must know that this is a huge market for their service and by releasing in here, that will for sure boost the platform in ways that they might be expecting, so it also takes time to plan everything. An well done launch here will be synonym of the platform's dominance or failure in the worst case. Hope it gets to be the first option, so being careful regarding it is for sure a nice strategy.

and yes, I've been literally dreaming with Stadia for a couple years now as I wait for it.
