Good question, until now I didn't even know about a "Brave" browser to be honest.

I guess best is to figure it out and decide on your own which one you prefer? All I know is that the Chrome Browser is also a Google Product and usually Google tries to make their Google products work well together, so I would assume Chrome is a good choice, especially because Google also mentioned the Chrome Browser as a requirement. But I did also hear from other users they were using other browsers and it works fine for them too, so I think it's up to personal preferences here.
