The option here is that you can either

Wait for free to play weekends for the game you like, there is no schedule not anyone know if a game will ever be on a free weekend, right now if you are a Pro subscriber you can try Madden 2021 for free

Buy any game without worrying, you have 15 days of time to change your idea and get a complete reimburse, the only limit is that you have to play a maximum of 2 hour to be eligible, so basically you have 2h demo for any game as long as you "deposit" the money for it.

Hardware related, I dropped all the other platform because I don't need to buy the hardware since my laptop could at most play Assassin's creed 2 brotherhood

I'm intrigued to try this out but not fired up about spending the money without ever seeing the game play etc. Where can you try this out? Local Best Buy doesn't have one to show---what are the options?

related---if GOOG really wants this to go I think they should give away the hardware....seriously. The hardware--if they're serious---is the main barrier from what I can tell to trying this out. The long term value of a sub vs. the hardware sale?--seems like easy math.
