Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.06

Hi everyone! When patch 1.06 will be released? I think It Is very important due to the fact that It fixes "corrupted saves" bug in cyberpunk 2077. It s a shame to know that if your data Is above 8Mb, than you lose everything!

Since the patch has been out for a few days, it should now be available and installed on Stadia

Hey @Andrel,

The updates for Cyberpunk 2077 release a few days after the other consoles for every patch now.
So I don't thing you have to wait for long the latest patch, except there are some holidays in between now.

But you can always contact CD Project Red when they are going to release it for Stadia.

Has there been any confirmation that the 8M save file issue affects Stadia? It's certainly possible that it does, but if it doesn't (which is also possible), we may not see this particular "hot fix" patch.

@JohnZoidberg heard about 1 or 2 through some YouTube communities.

It only happens when you exploit some crafting things.
The exploit is very handy but generates a larger save file as intended.
So if you stay out of exploit territory you should be fine.

Dang. I shouldn't be surprised, since this seems like a bug in the core engine, I was just hoping that the fact that Stadia does game saves in a different way might make it less susceptible. Sounds like an instance of my favorite joke, though: A man goes to the doctor and says "Doctor, it hurts when I do this," while flinging his arm wildly up over his head; the doctor says "Don't do that".

I also don't like that Cyberpunk is still 1.05 on Stadia... I need the DumDum Quest fix to continue playing

Save can get corrupted even if you play normally. If you do a lot of side content and pick up a lot of items. My save file also is coming dangerousy close to 8 mb.

The 1.06 came out 5 days ago...

and they did not fix it really, more like put a plaster on the gun shoot wound.

After 9 days of the release of version 1.06 it is still not available on stadia. Dum Dum is still missing in the game and I can't finish the quest. Very bad stadia expirience.

I've asked on Stadia's official FB profile when the patch will be available, and they've told my that this is question fot CDProjekt...

So I've asked on official Cyberpunk 2077 FB profile (in thread about patch 1.06), but no one ansewered...

Well, I really believe that it's Stadia's team responsibility to "encourage" developers to release updates and patches on Stadia platform.
That's why I think Stadia's approach to cloud gaming might be a problem - developers are not that interested (or simply have more important and popular platforms to worry about) in porting and patching games on Stadia platform (I think we'll all agree - even hardcore Stadia fanboys - that Stadia platform is not as popular as PC or consoles).

@stefan1123 I slightly disagree...
As a developer myself I would have less interest in a platform if I have to fullfill a very strict timeline for my work and could get problems because of that...
I realy think Stadia is not responsible for that... And it's correct to leave it to the publishers/developers...
But google did not make good marketing though... posting "Don't want to wait for huge Cyberpunk patch downloads, come play Stadia" when in fact every other plattform are already on the latest patch and Stadia is left with the old stuff for a very long time...

In my opinion leaving this descisions to the pubs/devs has more benefit in the long term as more games would come to stadia which is the most important thing right now... Having a gorwing library...

But CDProject should definitive deliver the patch to stadia as the other 2 patches was deployed some days after pc and console as well... So I blame them^^
