xbox one controller button layout not working on MacOS

hi my controller isn't working with stadia. the button layout is all goofty, the RB button became my start button and the triggers became how i look around. the controller was working fine before. its not old. i bought last week because i was having the same problem. i reset everything and i still have the problem. i used it on my android phone, samsung s9 and it works fine. Even runs better on phone then my Macbook. can anyone from the community help? got stadia so i could play cyberpunk 2077 and i'm getting frustrated. i just want to play my game.

@heymanimthedude Do the button mappings look correct if you test against https://gamepad-tester.com/ on the Mac?

The layout is still screw up. RB is start and LB is select button. The triggers is how i look around.

@codesplice got any other suggestions? i already order a stadia controller from pre-ordering cyberpunk but im not receiving it until january 15th which is quite a wait.

@heymanimthedude Testing with that site takes Stadia out of the equation. Since the mapping doesn't work correctly outside of Stadia it's not going to work inside it either.

What MacOS version do you have? I don't have access to a Mac system myself but I've read that the Xbox One controller should "just work" with 10.15 and newer.

And are you connecting with Bluetooth or USB? Can you try connecting the other way to see if that makes a difference?
