Unable to link family accounts

Yesterday I received my invitation code to Stadia. I had purchased Stadia form my kids and the intention is for them to use it and not me. I read the instructions which advised I should redeem the code against my Google account and then I should follow the instructions to add my kids to my subscription. I redeemed the code no problem and set up Stadia, however when it comes to adding my kids and following the instructions it does not seem to work.

The only way for my kids to play now is for them to use my account which defeats the purpose. How can I add my kids so that they can play using their own accounts?

Does it work if you follow these steps from the Stadia helpcenter to set up Stadia for your child(s)?

Yes, these are the steps the email from Google tells you to follow, but I get stuck on step 2. if we log into the Stadia app on my kids phone, he logs in with his account and I never get the email to verify. So we go no further. Very annoying, I followed Googles instructions but what I should really have done is forward the code to my son. Would have been no problem then.

I have the same problem, the Stadia app on my kids phone tell me that I have to accept in my account and there's nothing in my account and no email from stadia ever come in

Do you have setup the family with a valid family payment option? https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7007852

And if you login here: https://www.stadia.com/families you also see your kids accounts?

Maybe check the privacy settings over there.
