So I heard the new Chromecast with google TV is out. I rushed online to purchase. 4 units.... (Thinking stadia built in or stadia compatible would be part of it).

It's not until 2021?!

I guess I don't understand this move?. That's like inviting your kids to a water park but telling the one redhead kid he can't go.

Not that I have anything against redheads. Just feel blocked from any motivation to buy a product I was excited for.

I think this decision took us all by suprise. I also was in your position when looking to preorder the new Chromecast.

One thing I'm curious about is, does the new Chromecast have a Chrome browser? Surly if it does playing would still be possible. I could be wrong though

Yeah, it's disappointing for sure. This would have been a day 1 purchase for me but without Stadia yet, no go. They don't get my money (yet...Take that, Google!)

I as well was very excited when the chrome cast came out with Google TV so I picked one up for the Netflix six month trial and unfortunately my Steria will not connect I have tried everything I can including the browser and nothing works I guess I’ll just have to wait till after 2021
